How do you explain such events other than to identify them as God's Judgment?

But why would God judge San Fransisco? Hmmm... let's see if we can identify a reason or ten.

1. Recently, homosexuals in San Francisco celebrated an event called the Folsom Street Fair for the 24th straight year. The organizing group claimed that 400,000 people attended the event.The purpose of the fair was to celebrate "leather pride", a euphemism for homosexuals who indulge in sadomasochism, often called S&M. These people enjoy bondage, whipping, spanking and other perverted sexual practices.People who attended the event reported that police backed off while the party-goers practiced oral sex, nudity, masturbation, and orgies in public. 10. After the ruling that supports same sex mariages was upheld earlier this month, more than 3,000 marriage licenses had been issued within a weeks time to same-sex couples.

Reason enough? Maybe, maybe not.. depending on your views. I personally view homosexuality the same way I view Lying, Stealing, Idolatry, Fornication, and any other sin. God hates it and calls people to Repent! (Turn away from their sin and turn to Him).

In 1 Corinthians Chapter 6 it says:
9do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11And such were some of you. But you were washed you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God

Like the passage reads.. none of the people listed will inherit the kingdom of God and such were some of us! Don't know about you (yes I do) but I was once worse than the homosexual as a greedy, sexually immoral, thieving, drunkard. Not to mention a blasphemous liar full of idoloatry.

Nevertheless God promises forgiveness and remission of this and other sin for all - by His grace, through faith in Christ and He declares all who believe "justified". The Encarta dictionary defines justification this way: the grace of God absolves people from all sin!

I ask you all to pray for all people including Gay's to recognize their sin and repent, putting their absolute faith in Jesus Christ alone to save them from eternal damnation in hell, knowing that while we were yet sinners CHRIST DIED FOR US.
